An amber-colored beer that couldn't be more amber. The beige-coloured foam crown develops a fabulous volume. It does not smell quite unexpectedly malty. The Antrunk presents itself full-bodied malty, besides slightly spicy with a pleasant brotigen aftertaste. A little honey could probably be interpreted as well. At first hop activity is not an issue. Only in the aftertaste does the hops show a rather reserved astringency. The character of the beer, however, clearly remains malty and tends to be caramel sweet. A drinkable and uncomplicated beer.
