The character of this unfiltered and naturally cloudy beer is determined by its particularly high natural content of proteins and tannins, yeast and hop components. Brewed with Franconian barley malt with the addition of light caramel malts and mild Spalter aroma hops, the Zwickl ferments at cold temperatures below 10 °C until it has reached its full, savoury taste. Due to the natural turbidity, Zwickl is a beer of high nutritional value.
