Brewing a dark beer is not an easy task, and it is rightly one of the most complicated types of beer in the world. With an original wort of 11-13%, which is created by any amount of roasted malt, a certain scratchy note is usually pre-programmed. However, this must be avoided at all costs, because the beer should still be smooth and tasty. To achieve this, a perfect blend of colored malts is required. Another problem is the head.
