Order Hösl Communbräu Zoigl at Beer Mail Order
In the small and tranquil Mitterteich, located in the northern Upper Palatinate, the Hösl brewery produces its beer specialties, which are special for this region. Not only the brewery has a long and traditional history, but also the Communbräu Zoigl. The wort was brewed together in the Communbrauhaus, and then each Zoigl brewer fermented it in his own cellar to produce the finished beer. Depending on how long the storage time was and how much yeast was added, very different taste nuances were created. Today, this tradition is rarely practiced. The Communbräu Zoigl is produced only by Hösl Bräu, but has kept the name to commemorate this communal tradition and preserve the history. In keeping with this beer style, the Communbräu Zoigl flows into the glass in a strong amber color and is adorned by a coarse-pored head. Various malt notes reminiscent of bread or grain can be found in the taste. There is also a slight yeast aroma and a subtle bitterness in the finish. All in all, an extremely successful Zoigl from Hösl Bräu that is mild and full-bodied in taste.
By the way: The taste can be easily influenced by further storage in the brewery's own cellar.
