With a soft dark chestnut color and a voluminous head, the Weizenbock from the Held brewery presents itself in the glass. The bouquet is slowly passing away, leaving its mark on the rim of the glass. At the same time, the first aromas can be sensed moving towards the nose. Banana and orange are to be found here. On the palate, Held-Bräu's Weizenbock shows its true character. The fruity notes of the aroma sample continue here and are complemented by a slight acidity and the wonderfully brewed yeast and accompanied by sweetish malt notes. Towards the end, a very subtle hop bitterness sets in, giving Held-Bräu Weizenbock a fitting finish. Final conclusion: a noble appearance and a terrific taste, just as you would expect from a true Held.
