Schübel Bräu - Nordeck-Trunk Order beer

This beer from the Schübel brewery has an unusual name. It is named after the castle Nordeck in Stadtsteinach. It is gold cloudy in the glass, not to be despised here is the white, durable flower. The smell is spicy and makes a great anticipation. The taste is dominated by the slight bitterness before the malt, but without the pure astringency of a Pils beer. Thus the Nordeck Trunk from Schübel forms the perfect transition from a pure Pilsner to a drinkable Franconian. Unfiltered, yeasty cellar beer of a special kind!
